Let me introduce myself

I recently became the Branch Secretary of the NUH&AS branch in January 2017.

I have been involved in UNISON activities for 3 years. I work as a house keeper for Carillion. UNISON worked hard with campaigning against Carillion and in joint engagement from member’s we successfully campaigned against the private sector to bring the Estates and Facility services back into the NUH Trust.

2017 will bring many more challenges. We have much more work to do on the behalf of our members.

Going forward, NUH&AS branch will continue to represent our many members working for NUH NHS Trust as well as those employed by private companies including Carillion Plc, Circle Group Holdings Plc and Medilink.

Nottingham University Hospitals and Allied Services UNISON branch is a member led union. I look forward to working with the members going forward together as one.

I am committed to keeping NUH&AS branch members updated with information on what UNISON are doing on your behalf, to regularly hold consultation meetings in your work place, to listen to your concerns and act on them.

If you would like to get more involved or need UNISON advice, please do not hesitate to contact me.
